The underwater analyser opens up a new method to scientists of measuring particles in situ with real time size characterization of particles suspended in estuary waters. The measurement can then be used to show the distribution of organic polluants, toxic organisms or sedimentation phenomena. The CILAS 925 is especially designed for the marine environment and can be used for either profile acquisition (down to 300 meters) or in a stand-by position for an unlimited time. |
