The Liquid Handling Business designs manufactures and markets pipettes, tips, microplates and strips, as well as their accessories. Its sales, marketing and R&D teams are located in Vantaa, Finland, and its production mainly in Joensuu, Finland, where it employs around 140 people. In all, the business has nearly 200 employees. Pipettes and tips are also manufactured in Russia, China and India.
The Microplate Instrumentation Business designs, manufactures and markets laboratory instruments and research reagents. The instruments are designed and marketed in Vantaa, Finland, and manufactured in Vantaa, China and India. The reagents are designed, marketed and manufactured in Vantaa. The business employs around 120 people.
So far, we have sold over three million Finnpipettes to over 100 countries. On many markets, Finnpipette is the clear market leader. The sales of high-quality Finntips is also heavily increasing; the production of these tips has already exceeded one million tips per day. |
