Baltic Scientific Instruments (BSI) has been organized in 1994 as the result of reorganization of state enterprise Riga Research and Development Institute for Radio-Isotope Apparatus (RNIIRP) to the private company.
RNIIRP was founded in 1966 for the designing and production of semiconductor detectors for nuclear radiation and the equipment on their bases. After the reorganization BSI has maintained the technical and scientific potential of RNIIRP and now is continuing its activity.
Today the BSI structure comprises the research and development and the industrial departments as well. BSI experts have many years experience in their hi-tech business. It provides the opportunity for the company to produce the serial analytical devices and to participate in various international research and development projects. |
