| CAMAG Switzerland manufactures equipment for Planar Chromatography (= modern instrumental TLC). The range of equipment covers instruments for sample application, TLC plate development and densitometry. Sample application can be done by means of the Nanomat 4 (manual operation), the Linomat 4 (semi-automatic operation) or by the Automatic TLC Sampler 4, a fully automatic sample application device controlled by a PC and 32-bit Windows based software. Plate development can be performed with the Twin Through glass chambers, the Horizontal Developing Chamber, the ADC (Automatic Developing Chamber) or using the AMD2 (Automatic Multiple Development) for gradient separation. TLC detection can be achieved with a classical densitometer or via video technology. The CAMAG TLC Scanner 3 (classical densitometer) is the most versatile densitometer for qualitative or quantitative TLC evaluation. The CATS software for the Scanner 3 allows detection with single-, dual-, and multi wavelength as well as automatic spectra recording in the range of 190 to 800 nm. The VideoStore system uses video technology to acquire an TLC image via an 3-CCD video camera. VideoScan transfers the image pixels into a densitogram for qualitative or quantitative TLC evaluation. CAMAG supplies also ancillary equipment for TLC, like the TLC Plate Heater III, the TLC reagent Sprayer, Immersion device for TLC derivatization and offers also application support, CBS (bibliography service), Instrument IQ-OQ (PQ) certification.
